iOS App Support

Our Driving Test Routes App uses the most up-to-date version of Mapbox’s navigation API. Mapbox is a high-end automotive navigation system used by Porsche, BMW, Toyota Rivian, and GM.

Please check you have the most up-to-date version of our app installed. Plus, your phone has the latest iOS software updates installed to get the best out of the navigation.

Driving Test Routes App is currently Live

  • Your monthly subscription gives you the following

    1. Unlimited access to all the test routes for your selected test centre.

    2. Unlimited Test Route turn-by-turn navigation.

    3. Unlimited access to our Sat Nav (See Main Menu)

    Additional test centres can be added to your subscription.

    Please note: An active subscription is required to use the turn-by-turn navigation and access additional test centre routes.

  • You can use your subscription on another Apple device, however you are unable to share your subscription on an alternative platform (i.e. Android).

    Please do the following:

    1. log in to your Apple ID in your phone settings and install our app on your alternative device.

    2. Navigate to the Menu page and press "Restore Purchase".

  • Please try the following.

    1. Delete and reinstall the app for the App Store.

    2. In the Main Menu press Restore Purchase. (If you receive an error message please move to next step).

    3. Go to My Routes and swipe down to refresh the page (make sure you see the loading wheel).

    4. Please check your subscription is still active in your phone settings.

    If after trying the above your route does not show up, please contact us direct on the app contact page.

  • If you’re a PDI or ADI please contact us via the Contact Page in the app to request free access to additional test centres.

    1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

    2. ​Tap your name at the top of the list.

    3. ​On the resulting page, tap Subscriptions.

    4. Cancel Subscription.

Navigation

  • For best app performance please close all unnecessary apps before using the navigation.

    Restarting your phone can also help improve the performance of any app.

    If you are still having issues please contact us via the contact page in the app.

  • IMPORTANT: Please press the Navigate button within 200 meters of the blue line starting.

    The Red marker is your destination. NOT the starting point.

    The app the designed to navigate you around your chosen test route from the test centre.

    Starting points may vary due to the location of some test centres being located in busy areas.

    As long as you are within 200 Meters of the routes starting point the navigation will start.

  • If you’re having problems with the navigation not working properly please try the following.

    1. Close Driving Test Routes App

      2. Go to Settings and scroll to Driving Test Routes App

    2. Click “Location”

    3. Select “Allow Only While Using App”

    4. Turn on “Use Precise Location”

    5. Open Driving Test Routes App and select a route.

  • Please check the following:

    1. Open the "My routes" tab. - Select a test centre and choose a route.

    2. Press navigate.

    3. If you see a message pop up with "Distance to test centre" this indicates the navigation and location settings on your phone are correct.

    If you still having issues please contact us direct in the app.

  • Our Driving Test Routes app does support Apple CarPlay. Please follow the onscreen instructions once connect to your vehicle.

  • Our driving Test Routes App needs data to provide voice prompts for turn-by-turn navigation. Maps and navigation use very little data.

  • Some Apple iPhones are currently experiencing an app bug where users are unable to control the sound in some apps.

    Please check the following:

    - Audio Settings

    - Navigate to your iPhone settings

    - Sound and Haptics

    - Ensure the toggle “Change with Buttons” is turned off

    - Turn up the phone volume and retry in app.

    Additional Checks:

    1. Please also check you're not connected to any car systems i.e bluetooth or aux cables.

    2. The voice navigation needs a good data connection, please check your data is turned on.

    3. Some iPhone models only allow you to turn up the voice volume while the voice navigation is speaking. We have requested Apple resolve this issue.

My Routes

  • Please try the following.

  • Please take a screenshot of the error message and contact support via the Main Menu.

  • If you have found an issue with a particular test route please email us on info@route-led.com or send us a message in the app.

    The more detail you can give helps us fix the issue quickly.

  • Please now do the following:

    1. Navigate to your “My Routes” tab

    2. Swipe down from the top of the page to refresh (You should notice a spinning loading wheel)

    3. Your test routes have now been updated.

Register

  • Registering in the app allows use to find your account and support you with any queries you may have.

    You can register on the My Routes Page. You will also have access to your Profile in the Main Menu.

    If you wish to remove your persnal data from our app please scroll to the bottom of the main menu and press “Remove my personal details”.

Payments & Refunds

  • Yes. All payments and personal details through the Play Store or Apple Store are 100% secure. See our Terms for more information

  • Due to Apple’s data protection policy, Route-Led Group Limited is unable to process refunds direct to customers. Please contact Apple direct to request a refund.
